According to a survey conducted by XSprout, while many companies make the pursuit of strategic returns the primary objective of their CVCs, approximately half of them responded that they "cannot judge" their current self-assessment of strategic returns. This suggests that many CVCs lack a proper mechanism for measuring strategic returns. The lack of a defined strategic return is a major obstacle hindering the evolution of CVCs.
